If you go west in the direction of the Slovenian border, after 9 km you will reach Klanjec. A small picturesque town is located on the slopes of the Cesargrad mountain, and is mentioned in the 15th century. In Klanjec you will find the Antun Augustinčić gallery, the medieval fortress of Cesargrad, the Franciscan monastery and the church of Holy Mary. Between Klanjec and Kumrovec, you will find Zelenjak, a protected monument of nature where there is an obelisk, in honor of the Croatian anthem that was composed by Antun Mihanović.
